The drums are very loud but they are also very empowering. Almost from the day we're born we want to bang our little fists around. Learning how to play the drums is a right of passage that has been passed down from generation to generation. As toddlers grow into children and then teenagers, they still have a growing desire to bang on something loud! The drums are an expression of the energy and rhythm that's deep within our DNA. Whether you are a beginner drum student who is interested in learning the basics or a advanced drum student who is interested in improving your technique, learning to play the drums is a terrific way of understanding the foundations of all music.
